Department of Transport Success

It was a hassle with my Malaysian driver’s license getting transferred over. Had so much issues with their database and their system. But am grateful for Dom, giving DOT 4 stars because of his exceptional service and patience in assessing my situation. He’s very kind and helped me to get through my issues and advising the best outcome

If you want to change your surname after marriage don't even bother to come here!! Its ridiculous when they unable to change. One of the senior staff mentioned have to go through birth, death registration to change the legal name first. It doesn’t make sense at all. After I left went to another DOT outlet and they it perfectly as they are more knowledgeable. Just because of this DOT they wasted my whole day by travelling to another outlet!!

Shocking. Waited over an hour to collect some plates. Got to the desk and was asked for ID which I had. But guess what it was digital so not accepted. Doesn’t say that on the form. It has my photo and signature but they would not take it.As a lot of people now have digital ID maybe they should be more specific.Went back again and they were queuing out the door.And seriously you build a brand new establishment with no toilet facilities.

The assessor Anthony is a legend. Really easy to talk to and made the driving test less stressful. Helped me stay calm and perform my best on my test.

An absolute disaster of a set up... it is well understaffed and the waiting times are absolutely ridiculous.They obviously take their phones off the ringer or turn them off in case you get through...Only bother going there if you have no other option. Keep you whole day free, as it will be wasted sitting around like you've nothing else to be doing!Disgraceful service.0 stars

A very busy place,staff do a great job under the circumstances they have to deal with.Very polite and helpful.Keep up the good work.

Something has to be done to improve the quality of service. It is just a nightmare to be there when you have to wait for 2 hours and No toilet?!There were at least 30 ppl waiting at 4:15. I felt like I got a lotto ticket when my number was finally called after over 2 hours of waiting. It is nervewracking stressful time-wasting and inefficient....

Staff where great.But a 3 hour wait for a 2 minute task, which should have been able to be done upon vehicle inspection. Won't be back unless it's an urgent matter that I can't sort out any other way.

Took them 1 hour 45 min to get from ticket 205 to 222…that’s 17 tickets between 2:30pm and 4:15 close. I was ticket 236 so I just walked out…For a government service which is supposed to support the people and is paid for by them you’d think the opening hours would cater better for the working class. Opening after work begins and closing before it ends is a diss service. Should be open much much later.All the staff look like deer in headlights when people walk in and they need to say “you may not get served today” if you are consistently seeing the same issue everyday…how about trying to solve the issue? Just a bright idea.I wonder why they have issues with people getting aggressive when they NEED to take time OFF WORK to go to the DOT so they are already losing income to be there but to then find out their time has been WASTED your gonna have issues.Just do a better job, it’s not a hard one. The hardest part is the grumpy people who are only grumpy because you make an easy job harder than it needs to be.

This is not the first time I have been at the DOT success and will not be the last. There are several staffs ready to assist people with various issues.As soon as you walk in, you will be welcomed by a lovely, friendly lady who is eager to help you choose the right option; therefore, the clients can be served by the right staffs.I went there at about midday. I waited for about 3.5 hrs until my number was called. the guy who served me was nice. there was a document that cannot be used; thus, I lack of 1 ID in order to proceed any further. He instead of telling me to come back, politely suggested I sat and tried to access some other information that can be classified as valid. It's such a shame that I cannot access that fast enough. The cut-off time to have every thing organised prior to sitting on the test is 3.45pm sharp ( not even 3 mins late like me today).SO be prepared. take a few extra ID if you can have any.the ambient is as good as it can be. there are multiple couches; yet, they don't seem to be sufficient esp., when people still remain caution and keep distance from one another. there is no bathrooms in the establishment.According to the gentleman who served me today, he said DOT success is especially busy on Mondays and Fridays. We might want to avoid the busy days :)
